SPORTS THERAPY
Sports therapists are specialists at assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal pain and injuries and help clients return to everyday function or back to the field of play stronger than before! Sophie has also completed her MSc in Sports and Exercise Biomechanics with her final project based on Biomechanics of Tennis Players. Sophie has also completed her APPI level 1 & 2 Clinical Pilates qualifications and runs our Hydrotherapy sessions, following her ATACP Foundation program in Aquatic Therapy.
Sophie treats a wide range of injuries that do not necessarily have to be sport related. Within the initial assessment Sophie will assess, diagnose, and treat your problematic area with hands on manual therapy, followed by creating a personalised rehabilitation programme to suit your individual needs and reach your goals.
Sophie works with a wide variety of sports including all mainstream team sports - Football, Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Tennis and other racquet sports, Running, Swimming, Cycling, Walking, Golf, Climbing and many more! We have a special interest in Equestrian sports and gymnastics, trampoline and dance.

Sophie graduated in 2023 and is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists. During her time at University Sophie has gained a wide knowledge of sporting injuries and aetiologies, that enable her to use a hands-on approach when treating whether that be manual therapy or soft tissue work. A key aspect in Sophies work is designing rehabilitation programmes that can be regressed or progressed to challenge you and get you back to sport. Sophie has completed her Sports Trauma Management course and has completed her masters in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics. In her free time, you will find Sophie riding or running!
